Love this place! The skinny margarita is fresh and tasty and the Hacienda shrimp platter is the best in town!! Maria and the entire staff make you feel like family!!

For lunch service it was a little slow. It wasn't my first time in this restaurant, my wife and have had dinner here a few times. Lunch and dinner were both good for the price. I would definitely good back. I gave them the 3 star's just for slow service.

We have been coming to Bartow from MA visiting this local restaurant for many years and have loved everything we have ordered. Recently we visited another Mexican eatery by Beef O Brady’s because they had 5 star reviews. It was more than awful - Sangria right out of a mix , restaurant supply chips and salsa- a huge disappointment! Won’t do that again! Hacienda Mexico is a warm and friendly spot with great home made authentic Mexican food.

2 stars for trying, however, there's no taste in the food. Very poorly menu choices. Coffee is horrible. There's nothing Mexican in the taste. Do not recommend this place; sorry! Go try Mexican food in other restaurants, then, try to immediate their taste.

This place may be on main street but it sure is a hidden gem here in Bartow. The service was amazing, and the food topped it off. Definitely have to come back soon!

Whatever you do, don't go to Bartow, FL for good Mexican food. It came out luke warm and bland. Where's the great authentic Mexican flavor? Not here.I felt like I was eating tomatoes, sugar, and oil.Where's the good corn flavor of the corn tortillas? Not here. I like my food to come out piping hot and full of flavor, authentic Mexican spices. Not here! And when they wipe down the vinyle table covers for the next unsuspecting victim, the strong smell of the rag (pine sol and germs), is a turn-off.

This was a to go order for fajitas and queso dip. I order a lot of Mexican food to go and this was fantastic. They actually gave you enough salsa and cheese dip like you would get when you're sitting down at table. Very friendly and fast service.

The food here is amazing. Although the chips and salsa are excellent as well, save room for the main course becuase they serve healthy portions! Highly recommended 👍🏼

Decent, but still looking for better

The food is okay although the salsa is water with tomatoes mixed in. The service was so slow though. We sat and waited 10 minutes for our server, then while he was nice, we had to ask for silverware and water. It's a nice atmosphere but maybe a bit pricey for what your actually eating.

Great food. And the drinks are very good. Actually get what you pay for and then some. The waiter and waitress were in their toes and we had an extra large group like 20 or more and we all ate at the same time!! The atmosphere is unbelievably wonderful!

HEY EVERYBODY, just wanted to let you know that the Hacienda is OPEN and ready to serve your some of the BEST Mexican food I have ever had. I have lived in Southern California and Texas and Hacienda is among the best. Staff has always been pleasant and made the dinner VERY enjoyable. REMEMBER, they are open and ready to feed you RIGHT NOW even with the virus scare.

Food is okay here I have had better. But they have the best margaritas in town and Thursday and sundays they have 2 for 1 on margaritas. I couldn't feel my face when I left. Make sure you have a designated driver if your gonna drink.

The food was good and the service was fast & friendly. But that bathroom made me scared. It's really dark in there. I felt like something might crawl on me. I would recommend a lighter color for the walls in there. Brighten it up. But the tacos were really good so... it's up to you if you want to venture to the facilities.

Staff was nice, food was so-so. It wasn't bad, but it did not remind me fully of authentic Mexican food.

Chips and salsa great, alcoholic beverages great, good happy hour specials. Being from San Antonio Texas that has excellent Mexican food, I wasn't real impressed. There were 4 people in our party and only 2of 4 truly liked their plates. But for most Floridians, good value and decent food.

They have an excellent Friday deal on Fajitas and it's real Mexican food. I like the small atmosphere and the chips and salsa. Perfect for dinner or lunch.

Delicious food! Reasonable prices! Great service! I've been here 100+ times and never had a bad meal. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. Sound like people just having a bad day and looking for somebody to blame. The food, smiles and hospitality are authentic.

If you like real authentic Mexican food you'll find it here. Don't know much about it? That's okay because the staff will gladly answer any questions you have along with some history of where in Mexico things originated. They are really passionate and have a wide variety of dishes. They also have an a la carte section so you can order individual items.

Great Food. Authentic Mexican food at that. It's locally owned & operated, so no commercialized setting. Not only does this place have great tasting authentic Mexican food, the atmosphere is very cozy & welcoming. Also the prices are very reasonable. I love eating here more than Abualos & Chevy's in Orlando. The restaurant is clean & service from employees & owner are excellent. I hope the restaurant flourishes & prospers. There's no other place like this fabulous little quaint business in the area.

Well, the beef had NO SEASONING. Seriously, Taco Bell's food has more flavoring.2 stars cause the people were nice.

Hard working local restaurant that is open when other close. Best Sit down Mexican in town which great salsa. I love the chicken nachos and my wife loves the fancy meal that comes with cactus. There is a reason why this is the longest running downtown restaurant. 😉 this review is making me hungry.

The torta is outstanding!!

Nice little spot in downtown Bartow. We were seated soon after we walked in. They were a little busier than they normally are. So I think it was all hands on deck. Everyone had something different. All looked delicious.
